Pneumatic shockwave therapy diode laser physiotherapy equipment PW02
2 in 1 laser shockwave therapy machine
Pneumatic shockwave therapy + diode laser therapy treatment together.
Work theory:
Shockwave therapy creates tiny cavitation bubbles in the tissue which then burst and stimulate blood flow, stem cell activity and pain reducing enzymes in the treated area. Giving pain relief after treatment as well as stimulating long-term tissue normalisation and regeneration.
Laser therapy is the process of photons entering the tissue and interacting with the cytochrome c complex within the cell mitochondria. The result of this interaction is the biological cascade of events that leads to an increase in cellular metabolism and a decrease in pain.
Shockwave therapy is an effective, non-invasive treatment of injured soft tissues, specifically tendon and plantarfascia when an injury reaches a chronic non-healing state. A safe alternative to surgery or steroid and other treatment injections, shockwave therapy is clinically proven to stimulate metabolic reactions.
It activates the healing process by provoking an acute phase of healing and by stimulating enzymes involved in reducing pain, resulting in a high rate of success in treating these
difficult to treat, often chronic and very painful injuries
Shock wave therapy Treatment:
1. Tennis elbow
Painful inflammation of the tendon attachment on the lateral elbow
2. Shoulder pain with or without calcification
Painful limitation of shoulder movement
3. Golfer’s elbow
Painful inflammation of the tendon attachment on the medial elbow
4. Bursitis trochanterica
Painful periostitis of the hip
5. Patella tip syndrome
Inflammation of the tibial edge due to excessive strain
6. Tibial edge syndrome
Inflammation of the tibial edge due to excessive strain
7. Achillodynia
Painful irritation of the achilles tendon
8. Painful heel
Painful, mostly chronic inflammation of the heel
9. Inflammation of the tendon attachment
Painful inflammation of tendon attachments due to overexertion or improper strain,or due to degenerative processes
10. Acupuncture points
Pain therapy through that treatment of acupuncture points
11. Painful trigger points
Acute and chronic pain in the back, shoulder, neck, etc.due to permanently shortened and thickened muscles
Laser therapy works through a process called Photo biomodulation. When the laser is turned on it produces a beam that is near an infrared frequency.
1)When it is absorbed by the body’s cells, a cascade of events occurs resulting in an increased production of cellular energy. With increased energy the body is able to better handle inflammation and increase the clearance of damaged cells.
2) The laser therapy is usually used to reduce inflammation in the targeted area , relief pain from the reduction in inflammation , enhanced mobility and flexibility of the joints , reduced muscle tightness and spasm , accelerated recovery times
Laser therapy effective:
1) Arthritis
2) Bursitis
3) Tendinitis
4) Back pain
5)Tennis elbow
6)Fibromyalgia
7) Muscle strains
8) Plantar fasciitis
9) Ligament sprains
10) Carpal tunnel syndrome
11) Neck and shoulder pain
